A love for color and design was Cinda Boomershine's passion that led her to start her own Atlanta-based interior design firm in 2002. After earning industry recognition for her fresh and functional approach to design, Cinda was invited to join the cast of TBS's nationally-broadcast Movie and a Makeover as the on-air Design Expert. (She continues in that role today.) Running from client to client, and all places in-between, Cinda found herself searching for that perfect, everyday bag that was just as stylish and fun as it was versatile and functional. In 2004, she launched the cinda b brand.

From the very beginning, it was imperative to Cinda that all cinda b bags be made in the United States. It was as important to create American handbags as it was to help create American jobs. Initially, with so many companies and resources choosing to go overseas, that proved to be a difficult challenge. But perseverance paid off. In 2009, while looking for more extensive U.S. manufacturing capabilities and an opportunity to keep up with her brand's fast growth, Cinda teamed up with one of the most experienced, well-known handbag sewing companies in the country. Proudly, each and every cinda b product is made right here in the U.S.A. (in Fort Wayne, Indiana).

Today, cinda b USA, LLC is one of the fastest-growing handbag and tote, travel bag, and accessory companies in the country, found in more than 650 specialty gift shops and boutiques in all 50 states (plus a few stylish countries around the globe!). All cinda b bags and accessories are made with the latest durable, poly/nylon fabrics, making them water-resistant and machine washable. Offering hundreds of style and color combinations for gals on the go, each cinda b is designed personally with love and care by Cinda herself.

Cinda spends most of her time working out of her office in Atlanta, but when time allows, her greatest passion is traveling with her husband (and noted artist), Mark Boomershine. One of their favorite ways to travel the USA is in their vintage Airstream motor home that they lovingly restored. Always along for the ride is their furry mutt (and cinda b mascot), Bentley, whom they rescued from the Atlanta Humane Society in 2009. They also have two rescue cats, Chance & Coco (who aren't as fond of traveling!). Cinda is a self-proclaimed snowboarding and wake surfing addict and claims to do her best thinking while running. She also loves to garden, bake, hike, play with her nieces and godchildren and entertain friends and family at her home. She sits on several community boards and is particularly passionate about organizations that fight cancer, help homeless animals and mentor girls and young women.

Cinda finds inspiration for her designs and patterns in all facets of her life, from sunny vacation hideaways in the Caribbean to the bustling streets of NYC and from classic artists to modern fashion trends. The silhouettes for her handbags and accessories are born from her own on-the-go lifestyle.
