DIY Halloween Costumes – cinda b style

October 28, 2010

With Halloween just a few days away, it’s pretty safe to say that Google searches for “Halloween costume ideas,” “DIY Halloween costumes” and “Last minute costume ideas” are surging. While some of us are more prepared than others and have had our costumes planned out for months, there’s no shame in a last-minute costume decision.

When it comes to throwing together a last minute costume, you have to get creative. That’s where we come in – we’ve been brainstorming some simple costume ideas. Plus, each of these costumes would look great with a cinda b bag incorporated!

  1. One of the gals from Sex and the City
Glitter. Fashion. Stilettos. Style yourself up, then grab a martini glass (cosmopolitan optional) and hit the town! Don’t forget to take a clutch – the cinda b Wrap-A-Round is perfect!
  2. Martha Stewart
Keep it simple, like Martha does. Wear khaki or tan clothing, a crisp apron and natural makeup. Grab an issue of Martha Stewart living, a hot glue gun or a mixer to show off your creative side. (Martha owns a Sweetleaf Navy Resorter that Cinda gave her when they met last spring!)
  3. Bag Lady
Put all those purses to use at once! Suit yourself up with bags of all shapes and sizes from your closet and you’re ready to go. The best part is that you’ll have plenty of room to keep all your stuff!
  4. Legally Blonde’s Elle Woods
If you own pink clothes, you can be Elle Woods. Dress in pink from head to toe, and tote your version of Bruiser (Elle’s partner-in-crime) in a handbag. To go the extra mile, print resumes on pink, scented paper to hand out to friends.
