Pack Your Bags ~ The Golden Isles of Georgia and Casablanca Sky Blue Await (Win a Train Case)

May 29, 2012

The South offers many gems, perhaps none so glistening as the Golden Isles, nestled on the Georgia coast.  Find them on the map midway between Savannah, GA, and Jacksonville, FL.  The mainland of Brunswick is complimented by four barrier islands: St. Simons Island, Sea Island, Little St. Simons Island and Jekyll Island.

A favorite destination for weddings, bird watchers, beach lovers, hikers and boaters, the Golden Isles offer a unique experience on the Atlantic seaboard.

Cinda’s favorite spot, Sea Island, was founded in 1924 after a causeway was built from the mainland, making motoring to the island possible.  Howard Coffin, of the Hudson Auto Company, built the Cloister – a Spanish Revival mecca designed by Addison Mizner, and opened it in 1928.  The resort was an instant hit and has remained so to this day – hosting everything from championship Golf Tournaments to the G8 Summit in 2004.   For a fabulous pictorial tour, take a peek at the book, Sea Island at Night, which will have you wishing for a visit soon.

Cinda was inspired by the white sandy beach, and azure water of Sea Island, which is apparent in our Casablanca Sky Blue colorway.  The elegant Spanish tile is reflected in the pattern with it’s beautiful kaleidoscope of blue, coral and pink set against a sea of watery blue.

Our Tennis Tote, Beach Bag, and Golf Head Covers are exceptionally well suited to the style of Sea Island, with its rich culture of sport and relaxation.

Want to get into the Sea Island mood?  We’re giving away one of our fabulous new Train Cases in Casablanca Sky Blue (valued at $58.50) so you can always travel with a white sandy beach in mind.  **Just comment below and we’ll pick a winner Friday and post it right here!**

Thanks so much to all who entered – (at random) we picked Dluxe Dana who wrote:  I adore the colors, that look amazing together!! Beautiful gift! Thanks! – just email us at: with your shipping address and we’ll get that right out to you!!
