cinda b staff picks for Sun + Sand + Sea

August 26, 2013

Summer may be wrapping up, but there is still time for a little more fun in the sun with family and friends.  I asked some of our team at the cinda b headquarters to share stories from some of their favorite summer vacations. Hope you enjoy!

Steve {CFO} says:

Our family traveled to Charleston, South Carolina a couple of years ago to attend a dance competition for my daughters. When it was over, we continued down the Atlantic coast to a small beach town just south of Jacksonville, Florida called Crescent Beach. It was remote enough to be away from major crowds, but close enough to St. Augustine, Florida to allow for some truly awe inspiring visits into the oldest city in North America. It boasts cobble stone streets lined with quaint shops and a magnificent old fort on the edge of town. It was truly the best of both worlds…less crowded beaches to play on during the day with the amazing town of St. Augustine close enough for adventures in the evening.

Korrie {Creative + Marketing Director} says:

I think my favorite place in the world would be the Greek Islands of Mykonos and Santorini. From the laid back atmosphere to pristine whitewashed buildings and meandering stone pathways, both Mykonos and Santorini offer the best experience of what Greek Island culture is like. The sapphire water surrounding these lively islands adds to the breathtaking views and provides a peaceful and calm contrast to the rocky islands and beaches. I will return again and again as I am able! greece

Maggie {Special Markets Sales Manager} says:

Summer time travel to me means large family weddings! Ever since I was a little girl we frequently traveled to share in a family member’s special day. I have the best memories of attending weddings and dancing my heart out. My all-time favorite destination was Kiawah Island, South Carolina. A quite island filled with true Southern hospitality and breathtaking views! Now that I have two young daughters, I’m thrilled that they share in my love for family gatherings and have already begun dreaming about their own wedding day!

My favorite summer trip was when I spent time in Florence, Italy. I found myself enthralled with the stunning architecture, old world charm, breathtaking masterpieces, yummy food, delicious homemade lemonchello, and seriously—who could forget those handsome locals? I would go back in a heartbeat!
