I couldn’t help but post these images of the Four Seasons in Florence.  Such an elegant and bucolic setting, I can’t help thinking how perfectly our new colorway Scala will be for a trip here.  Shown below, Scala just fits right in to the color scheme and decor!

We’re going to have a fabulous new project to announce soon – hint: it has to do with babies!  In the meantime, we’ve been getting oodles of delight looking through the nursery designs on ProjectNursery.com.  There’s a baby room for every mood and style.   Here are a few of our favorites:

We’re super jazzed that Pantone chose Tangerine Tango as their color of the year.  We think it fits in really well with so many things – summer vacation, gorgeous sunsets, spring flowers… We wanted to point out cinda b’s love for orange as well – many of our colorways are sparked with orange, such as Seraphina Sun, Ravinia Ivory, Ravinia Black, Belize Brown, and BellaFiore Raspberry.   Want something to contrast with the hue? Empire Slate looks gorgeous too.

With the new year comes new resolutions – personally I plan on de-chunking from the holidays asap.  On the agenda – lots of walks, yoga, veggies, fruits, and bright colors (always helps to energize and tune up my mood).  There will also be a lot of dashing around.  That’s why I love this low cal pick me up that is fabulous for energizing in lieu of caffeine – plus it’s super fast and easy to make and clean up after – hence the name “dasher”.  Here’s the recipe:

Ingredients:

3/4 cup Fresh Apple Juice
1/2 Lemon
1/2 cup Mineral Water

Pour apple juice and mineral water into lovely glass, spritz lemon half squeezing hard to get all the juice possible in.  You can add ice cubes, but this time of year I like this combo just a little bit chilled from the refrigerator.  This supplies vitamins C, B, Folate, Calcium, Iron, and Magnesium and has about 100 calories.
